Velox is an unofficial, read-only browser extension for Roblox traders and collectors. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation.

We do not collect, store, or sell your personal data — and we never touch your Roblox password, 2FA, cookies, or session tokens.

What Velox does NOT do

What data is involved

Read from Roblox (public, anonymous): item value / RAP / resale / thumbnail data. These requests are made without your login (they carry no cookies), so they are not tied to your account.

One disclosed exception — the server list: when you open the Server Filter on a game page, the list of public servers is loaded by the Roblox page itself, exactly like Roblox’s own server browser (this is what lets Roblox include the small player-avatar previews). If you are signed in, your browser attaches your own session to that request the same way it does for every page you visit — Velox never reads, stores, or transmits your cookies or session, and the response never leaves your browser. Signed out, the same list loads without avatars. This is a read-only page request; it performs no account action.

Server regions (Server Filter): to show each server’s datacenter and estimate your ping, the extension asks Roblox’s own gamejoin endpoint for a public server’s join ticket and reads only the datacenter ID from it — it does not join, reserve, or launch anything. Because that endpoint only answers a logged-in request from the Roblox client, this request carries your Roblox session (which Velox never reads or stores) and presents the Roblox client’s User-Agent, tagged as Velox so Roblox can see the source. It is read-only, rate-limited, self-identified, and turned off any time in Settings → Server regions.

Sharing server regions (crowdsourced): when the extension resolves which datacenter a public server sits in, it can anonymously report that mapping — the server’s public ID and datacenter, never your identity, account, or browsing history — to our region service, so other users viewing the same game get it instantly without re-checking. Public server metadata only, sent with no login or cookies. It turns off with the same Server regions setting.

Helping value coverage (optional): when an item has no Velox value yet, the extension can report that item’s public asset ID (never your identity, account, or browsing history) to our value service so the item gets priced sooner. You can turn this off any time in Settings → Privacy.

Stored locally in your browser (never sent anywhere):

What leaves your browser: anonymous item-value lookups (to our value API and/or Roblox’s public APIs), and — for Premium — a one-time license-key check that transmits only your license key. No personal data.

No trades, no automation, no credentials

Velox never automates trades, takes bulk or automatic actions on your account, or handles your password, 2FA, or cookies. Almost everything it does is read-only, and the only two exceptions are both described above and under your control:

Velox never reads or stores your session, cookies, password, or 2FA.

Children

Velox does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. It has no accounts inside the extension; any purchase or identity is handled off the extension by our payment processor.

Payments

Purchases are processed by a third-party merchant of record on the Velox website. Velox never receives or stores your payment details.
